LIFE NECOVERY attended to IWA 2015 Nutrient Removal and Recovery

Cetaqua put his two cents in “IWA 2015 Nutrient Removal and Recovery”, a conference focused on innovations in the area of nutrient removal and recovery of waste water.

In this context, Cetaqua’s researcher Carme Garcia presented two posters; the first one, for the LIFE+ NECOVERY project, describes the results of laboratory tests zeolite level in order to evaluate its adsorption capacity ammonium trying effluent low and high load. The tests were conducted by Avecom with the cooperation of Cetaqua.

The second poster presented was for the Retorns Terrassa project, which aims to evaluate the technical, economic and environmental assessment of technology disposal / recovery of ammonium returns dehydration applied in the particular case of the WWTP Terrassa. The material presented at the conference IWA 2015 NRR describes the control system of partial nitrification developed by the research group at UAB GENOCOV with the support of Cetaqua.
